About
Geography is not just a study of physical geography, but also the people, places, times, and circumstances behind each region and its formation. Geography also includes the distribution of populations, resources, land use, and industries. We will conduct an in-depth analysis of each of the seven continents. We will also briefly analyze regions of the United States as part of our coverage of the continent of North America. Students will have questions to answer, small group projects for collaboration, map completions, and tests. Course objectives: The goal of this class is to view history through the lens of world geography and culture. To learn about other cultures and how geography impacts the human experience. To acknowledge that God created our world and that His hand has guided us and our nation. To understand how to interpret maps and how they impact our society.
