Lit is it: Literature, Grammar & Writing

IIn this literature class, students delve into analyzing texts, identifying themes, exploring character development, and understanding plot structures, while also learning to interpret figurative language and compare different perspectives across various texts and cultures. Grammar and vocabulary are interwoven into a sessions and students will practice principles of grammar by writing journal entries and crafting short writing pieces. Bible study is incorporated as mentor text and connections into themes of literature. Textbook/materials: ELA EP Language Arts 7 Novels: Titles provided at orientation. Price: $180 per semester + $40 supply fee includes the ELA EP workbook Language Arts 7, small jot book for poetry, a bookmark template for student design, card stock for projects, and 2 novels for students to read and respond.
